BOTOX® Cosmetic, or botulinum toxin type A, is a protein commonly used to non-surgically reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines, and lines on the neck. The injections work by blocking nerve impulses, thus weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the skin a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® Cosmetic may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms. The procedure is quick and usually performed in an examination room.

Juvéderm™ is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your healthcare professional eases Juvéderm™ injectable gel under the skin to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth). Juvéderm™ provides a smooth, natural look and feel—so everyone will notice (but no one will know)! In fact, studies show superior results of Juvéderm™ compared to a collagen-based dermal filler.
When we are young our skin is smooth and elastic with a healthy glow. As we age, our ability to maintain that smoothness and elasticity diminishes, resulting in skin that becomes drier, thinner and less able to replenish itself. Our body's natural collagen and hyaluronic acid levels decrease and our skin becomes looser. This leads to our skin wrinkling and appearing older than it should.
Approved by the FDA, Restylane is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane is able to perform for many months in your skin. The most common areas for a Restylane treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). When used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane will add shape and volume to the area. Restylane is able to create volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out.
Since no pre-testing is required, a Restylane treatment can be performed almost immediately. It usually takes about 30 minutes, depending on the type of correction you want. Most people find the injections relatively painless, but a topical anesthetic can be applied to the area prior to your treatment. You will be able to see the results as soon as your treatment is completed.

Spider veins are visible red or blue blood vessels that may spread like a web across the skin anywhere on the body, but most commonly on the face and legs. They form when surface vessels dilate (expand). Spider veins are not usually harmful, although they can cause pain after, for example, long periods of standing.
Varicose veins are blood vessels with weak walls can swell or balloon outward, raising the skin surface. Unlike spider veins, varicose veins can indicate poor vascular health if the swelling is caused by phlebitis (inflamed tender vein), thrombosis (clot), or venous stasis ulcers (open sores).
Sclerotherapy is the standard treatment for varicose and spider veins. The procedure involves injecting a chemical solution into the vein, which then collapses and is absorbed by the body. The average treatment program is outpatient and takes one to three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. After each treatment session patients may have to wear bandages or support hose for a few days or weeks and are encouraged to walk or exercise to speed recovery. Sclerotherapy rarely produces scarring or other side effects (typically these involve minor swelling or itching), although it cannot prevent the recurrence of vascular lesions.

Excessive hair growth may arise from puberty, pregnancy, menopause, heredity, medication, diseases or many other causes. Whether for hygienic or cosmetic reasons, the patient who is tired of temporary, often painful methods of removing unwanted hair - from depilatories, epilators and shavers to waxing and electrolysis - may welcome laser and intense pulsed light therapy with relief.
Lasers produce highly focused, intense beams of light that are absorbed by dark pigments in the hair follicles beneath the skin's surface and converted to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth for up to two years. Multiple treatments are required for complete hair removal because the follicle must be "active" at the time of treatment and not all follicles are active at the same time. Treatments are needle-free and anesthesia-free, with most patients feeling nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band.
The most common complication of the procedure is the regrowth of some hair, though it is usually finer and lighter than what was originally removed. Other, rare side effects include redness, swelling, burns and scarring.

Microdermabrasion reduces the appearance of mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other superficial skin problems by firing a gentle stream of tiny particles to exfoliate (abrade) the outer layer of skin and provide a fresh, glowing, younger appearance. The particles scrape away the surface layer of aging or damaged skin, which is then brushed off with the microdermabrasion vacuum tool, with no need for anesthesia. Only a small amount of skin is removed, so damaged areas on sensitive areas such as the face, chest, neck, arms and hands can be treated. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible, although multiple treatments are usually required for full effect. The procedure is particularly helpful for Asian and dark-skinned patients who risk skin discoloration with other treatment options. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other skin renewal procedures, such as laser treatment and chemical peels.
