is a native of West Texas, having been raised in Brownfield, Texas. College was completed in San Angelo, Texas and four years of medical school in San Antonio, Texas. After that, he completed a year internship in internal medicine and a three-year dermatology residency in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been in practice in Lubbock, Texas since 1995. He continues to be involved in academic medicine by interacting with the dermatology residents at Texas Tech.
Dr. Hope is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in surgical dermatology. He has extensive experience in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer, as well as cosmetic laser treatment, BOTOX® and Restylane injections of wrinkles, and sclerotherapy for leg veins.
Dr. Hope has been a teacher in the Department of Dermatology at the Texas Health Sciences Center in Lubbock since 1995.

She then earned her Medical Doctorate from Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. After that, she completed an internship at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana and a three year dermatology residency at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She recently joined Lubbock Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center in 2006 and continues to be involved in academic medicine by interacting with the dermatology residents at Texas Tech.
